Notice of Expiry and Last Date for Exercise of Warrant 2005/2010 (IJM-WB)


The Company wishes to announce that the subscription rights of the holder of Warrant 2005/2010 (IJM-WB) will expire at 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 20 August 2010 (“Expiry Date”). Any of the Warrant 2005/2010 not exercised by the Expiry Date will lapse and become null and void and shall cease to be exercisable thereafter. Accordingly, the Warrant 2005/2010 will be removed from the Official List of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) with effect from 9.00 a.m., Monday, 23 August 2010.

The trading of the Warrant 2005/2010 on Bursa Securities will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, 5 August 2010 until the Expiry Date.  The last date and time for trading of the Warrant 2005/2010 will be up to 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 August 2010.

Warrant Holders who wish to exercise their Subscription Rights should lodge the duly completed subscription form together with the requisite remittance to the Share Registrar, IGB Corporation Berhad (Share Registration Department) at Level 32, The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur (Tel: 603-22898989; Fax: 603-22898802) not later than 5.00 p.m. on the Expiry Date.

The Notice of Expiry (PDF format, 208 KB) and Last Date for Exercise of Warrant 2005/2010 (“the Notice”), of which a copy is enclosed, will be sent to all Warrant Holders on 19 July 2010. The Notice, subscription form and procedures for subscription are also available for access and download at IJM website at www.ijm.com.

In addition, Warrant Holders may wish to note that the Company has on 26 May 2010 declared an interim dividend of 11 sen per share less tax, which is payable to entitled shareholders as at 30 July 2010. Warrant Holders are advised to exercise their subscription rights no later than 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, 22 July 2010 to be entitled to the interim dividend.
