Kemena Industries Sdn Bhd (KISB) was incorporated on 17 March, 1987. It was jointly formed by IJM Corporation Bhd (IJM) and Bintulu Development Authority (BDA). IJM is one of the Malaysia’s leading construction groups and is listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia, whereas BDA is the local government authority.
In Bintulu, Sarawak, KISB is the sole manufacturer of precast concrete products and is also one of the biggest players of ready mixed concrete.
KISB’s products are manufactured in accordance to British Standard and Malaysia Standard. It also certified to MS ISO 9001 : 2008.
The range of products are :-

- Reinforced box culverts,
- Reinforced u-drains,
- Reinforced L-shape retaining walls,
- Other precast concrete products,
- Ready Mixed Concrete.
KISB has the ability and capacity to serve the construction and property industries effectively.
For the past 24 years since incorporation, KISB had engaging the sales of many reinforced piles and ready mixed concrete to the housing development projects and u-drain & box culverts to BDA’s infrastructure work projects.
KISB also secured many supply of precast reinforced products to construction industry. Lately, KISB had supplied the reinforced piles, pipes and ready mixed concrete to the construction projects in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu. KISB also managed to secure the supply of u-drain to Eastern Soldar Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd, the lower tier contractor for the Tokuyama’s polysilicon project in Samalaju Industrial Park.
KISB also supply reinforced spun pipes and ready mixed concrete to many of the contract works in the oil palm plantation.
