Soong Hee Sang B.Sc. (Estate Management) (Hons), MBA Non-Independent Non-Executive Director Mr Soong, a Singapore citizen, born in November 1958, was appointed Director on 26 September 2008 and is a representative of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte Ltd, a substantial shareholder of the Company. He is is currently a Managing Director and Head of Investments in India and South East Asia of GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd, the real estate investment arm of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation.  Mr Soong has over 20 years of experience in real estate investments and management.  Prior to joining GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd in 2006, He spent 9 years with CapitaLand Ltd where his last held position was CEO, Residential (New Markets). Mr Soong’s experience prior to CapitaLand Ltd include General Manager, Business Development with Arcasia Land (now known as Ascendas), Investment Manager with Government of Singapore Investment Corporation’s real estate department (now known as GIC Real Estate), Property Manager with Richard Ellis (now CS Richard Ellis) and Valuer with DBS Land. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management (Honours) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.
