Renounceable Rights Issue
of 454,549,285 New Ordinary Shares of RM1.00 Each (“Rights Shares”) with
227,274,642 Warrants (“Warrants”) at an Issue Price of RM1.35 Per Rights
Share on the Basis of Four (4) Rights Shares and Two (2) Warrants for Every
Five (5) Existing Ordinary Shares Held (“Rights Issue with Warrants”) |

We
wish to announce that as at the close of acceptance and payment for the
Rights Shares with Warrants at 5.00 p.m. on 5 September 2008, the total
acceptances and excess applications received for the Rights Issue were
325,651,754 Rights Shares together with the accompanying 162,825,877
Warrants.
The details
of the acceptances and excess Rights Shares with Warrants applications
received as at the close of acceptance and payment for the Rights Shares
with Warrants at 5.00 p.m. on 5 September 2008 are set out in the Table of
Subscription Rate below.
In view that
the Rights Shares with Warrants have not been fully subscribed for, all
applicants who have applied for excess Rights Shares with Warrants will be
allotted with the excess Rights Shares With Warrants as applied for. In
accordance with the written undertaking from IJM Corporation Berhad (“IJM”),
IJM will subscribe for all unsubscribed Rights Shares with Warrants not taken
up by way of excess Rights Shares with Warrants.
The tentative
listing date for the Rights Shares and Warrants is now targeted for 16
September 2008 and not 19 September 2008 as previously announced on 29 July
2008.
