National Annual Corporate Report Awards (NACRA) 2007
IJM has retained the National Annual Corporate Report Award (NACRA) under the Industry Excellence category (Construction and Infrastructure Project Companies) at the NACRA 2007 Dinner & Award held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.

The Prime Minister's CSR Awards 2007
IJM receives an Honourable Mention at the Prime Minister’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards presentation, after having submitted entries for four categories. The Anugerah CSR Perdana Menteri 2007 awards are given in recognition of companies that carry out strong community and social responsibility projects under the seven categories; viz. Community & Social Welfare, Education, Environment, Best Workplace Practices, Small Company CSR, Culture & Heritage, and Media Reporting. IJM was among the top three under the Outstanding Work in Environment category, and was presented the commendation plaque by our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

ACCA MESRA 2006
IJM garnered its inaugural CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) award at the ACCA Malaysia Environmental and Social Reporting Awards (MESRA) 2006 Presentation Ceremony, held on 3 May 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Mutiara Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The Group was accorded 2nd runner up in the Best Social Reporting in an Annual Report category. On top of raising awareness on CSR-related matters while encouraging best CSR approaches, the ACCA MESRA is an annual event that aims to recognise and reward organisations who excel in disclosing their CSR activities through their sustainability report. This goes to show the Group’s incessant efforts and socially responsible business practices in its entire business operations continue to have positive impacts on its people, environment and society.

Asiamoney Awards 2006
IJM Corporation Berhad won the 2006 Asiamoney Award for the Best Managed Company (Mid Cap) in Malaysia. The award was presented to our Chairman Tan Sri Dato' Ir. (Dr) Wan Abdul Rahman Bin Wan Yaacob at the Asiamoney 2007 New Year Awards Dinner held at the Asian Civilizations Museum, 1 Empress Place, Singapore.

IJM Corporation Berhad continues to excel in the National Annual Corporate Report Awards (“NACRA”) 2006 by retaining its overall placing at the top. For the third consecutive year of its participation, IJM won the Industry Excellence Awards for Construction & Infrastructure Project Companies Sector. Tan Sri Wan, Chairman of IJM, received the award from the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Y.B. Datuk Mohd Shafie bin Hj. Apdal at the award presentation ceremony held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Bukit Kiara in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award 2006 – International Achievement Award
IJM was honoured to be the recipient of the International Achievement Award during the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award 2006, hosted by CIDB at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The Award was in recognition for the construction and completion of the Elevated Viaduct from 0.62Km to 8.00Km on Barakhamba Road-Connaught Place-Dwarka Section in India.

Corporate Governance Survey Report 2006
IJM Corporation Berhad and IJM Plantations Berhad were both ranked 9th place in a top 200 PLCs Corporate Governance Survey Report 2006 – a joint study conducted by MSWG and The University of Nottingham (Malaysia Campus). An Award Presentation Ceremony was held in conjunction with this study, with the presence of Deputy Minister of Finance I, Dato’ Dr Ng Yen Yen to present the Awards to the recipients. Dato’ Krishnan Tan and Vela Tan, received the Award on behalf of IJM Corporation Berhad & IJM Plantations Berhad respectively.

IJM achieves MS ISO 14001:2004
The Group was accredited with the prestigious MS ISO 14001:2004 for its environmental concern & efforts by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd. To commemorate this history-making achievement, Dato’ Dr Mohd Ariffin Hj Aton, President/CEO of SIRIM Berhad, presented the certification to Dato’ Krishnan Tan before a thousand over witnesses comprising staff and distinguished guests. The award presentation ceremony was held during IJM’s Annual Dinner on 8 April 2006 in Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel.

PAM ARCHITECTURAL STEEL AWARD 2005
The Malaysian Institute of Architects has awarded the PAM Architectural Steel Award 2005 to the architect for Senai Airport Cargo Complex, in which IJM Construction Sdn Bhd was the builder.

CEO & MD Dato’ Krishnan Tan received the award from the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Y.Bhg. Datuk Mohd Shafie bin Hj. Apdal at the award presentation ceremony held at the Palace of the Golden Horses, Mines Resort City.

IJM Corporation Berhad was conferred the Industry Excellence Award 2003 - Export Excellence (Services) by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for its contribution in exporting Malaysia's construction service.

CIDB Project Award Major Building Category and The Prominent Player Awards 2003
IJM Construction Sdn Bhd was awarded The Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards 2003 under the Project Award Major Building Category for the Putrajaya Convention Centre. At the same time, Dato’ Goh Chye Keat, non-executive Director and former Managing Director of IJM, was awarded The Prominent Player Award.

Malaysian Business Corporate Governance Award 2002
IJM Corporation Berhad and Public Bank Berhad were picked joint winners of the inaugural Malaysian Business Corporate Governance Award 2002 (PDF format, 608 KB).  Both companies, which were among five finalists, received the Award.  The other three finalists were Malayan Banking Berhad, Nestle Malaysia Berhad and Esso Malaysia Berhad.

Malaysia Book Of Records
IJM Building Systems Sdn Bhd together with Forest Research Institute Malaysia & Brunsfield Resources Sdn Bhd has entered their names into The Malaysia Book of Records for jointly-developed the First LightWeight Oil Palm Fibre Reinforced Cement Composite Panel as an integral partition in housing and high rise building construction.

CIDB Malaysian Construction Industry Award 2001
IJM Corporation Berhad received further recognition from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) when IJM Construction Sdn Bhd clinched the 2001 Builder of the Year award. This award came hot on the heels of the Malaysian International Contractor of the Year Award received in 2000.

IJM Corporation Berhad was presented with the first Malaysian International Contractor of the Year Award, at the Malaysian Construction Industry Awards 2000.

IJM Corporation Berhad and IJM Construction Sdn Bhd was awarded the internationally recognised ISO Quality Management Systems certification "for provision of Construction Services in Building and Civil Engineering Works, testimony of living up to its motto "Excellence Through Quality".
