IJM garnered its inaugural CSR (Corporate
Social Responsibility) award at the ACCA Malaysia Environmental and Social
Reporting Awards (MESRA) 2006 Presentation Ceremony, held on 3 May 2007 at
the Crowne Plaza Mutiara Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The Group was accorded 2nd
runner up in the Best Social Reporting in an Annual Report category. On
top of raising awareness on CSR-related matters while encouraging best CSR
approaches, the ACCA MESRA is an annual event that aims to recognise and
reward organisations who excel in disclosing their CSR activities through
their sustainability report. This goes to show the Group’s incessant
efforts and socially responsible business practices in its entire business
operations continue to have positive impacts on its people, environment
and society. |
