IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has today accepted the Letter of Award dated 23 January 2009 from Bahagia Investment Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd for the Proposed Development of a 42-Storey Mixed Commercial Block comprising a 17-Storey Hotel, a 4-Storey Service Apartment, a 13-Storey Office Space (including Mezzanine Floor), 1 Level of Lower Ground and 2 Levels of Basement Carpark on Lots 70, 71 and 89, Jalan Pinang, Section 58, Kuala Lumpur at a contract sum of RM544.9 million. The construction period is for 35 months.  

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the transaction.
