Further to our announcement on 19 August 2004, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd has today received the notice of redemption dated 31 March 2008 from Eversendai-Corporation Sdn Bhd (“ECSB”) for the redemption of 12,000,000 redeemable convertible cumulative preference shares of RM0.01 each (“Preference Shares”) at a total cash consideration of RM13,000,000.

The redemption of the Preference Shares will be completed on 30 June 2008 or upon full receipt of the redemption consideration.
