Further
to the Offer Document that was despatched to the shareholders of Road Builder (M) Holdings Bhd ("RBH") ("Offer Holders") on 10 January 2007, we
are pleased to inform that
IJM has received
acceptances to the Offer of approximately 78% of the issued and
paid-up share capital of RBH
as at 12.00 noon on 31 January 2007, details of which are set out in Table
1 below.
Accordingly, in order to provide the remaining Offer
Holders with additional time to accept the Offer, the closing
date for the Offer has been extended to 5:00 p.m. (Malaysian Time)
on Sunday, 11 March 2007
("Revised Closing Date").
The transfer of the Offer Shares to the Central
Depository System ("CDS") is to be made before 5.00 p.m. on Friday,
9 March 2007
(being the last market day before the Revised Closing Date). The delivery of the Form of Acceptance and Transfer
for the Offer Shares ("Form of Acceptance and Transfer") should be
made before 5.00 p.m. on the Revised Closing Date.
Pursuant to the Offer, all other terms and conditions of the
Offer remain unchanged.
Offer Holders
who have yet to accept the Offer are advised to refer to the Offer
Document for the terms, conditions and procedures for acceptance and
the independent advice circular which details the recommendations
of the independent adviser. The timetable for the Offer is set out
in Table 2 below. |
